Afternoon/Evening GP Receptionist Vacancy (Previous Applicants Need Not Apply)
We have an exciting opportunity for somebody looking to join a busy but friendly GP Surgery Reception Team. This particular post is ideal for somebody looking for after-school or afternoon/evening work.
The post brings the opportunity to work closely with both students of the University of Kent and the local population in and around Canterbury.
The post-holder will be responsible for handling a multitude of queries in person and over the telephone, working with GPs, Nurses, Therapists and other administrative staff. This afternoon/evening role also includes administrative duties such as scanning medical letters into patient medical records and filing of letters/notes.
This role is suitable for both experienced receptionists and those looking for their first job in this field.
HOURS 16.5hrs a week:
Tuesday and Thursday 1.15pm to 6.45pm (14 weeks of year – University Vacation Time)
Tuesday and Thursday 3.30pm to 9.00pm (38 weeks of year – University Term Time)
Monday 1.15pm to 6.45pm (52 weeks of year) Salary – available upon request.
The post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
