PART-TIME MEDICAL CENTRE RECEPTIONIST

University Medical Centre Canterbury requires a part-time receptionist to join our busy and friendly Reception Team.

Essential Skills – applicants need to work efficiently with strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be required to work as a team player, being highly organised with the ability to work under pressure.  You will need the flexibility of being able to cover holidays and sickness, sometimes at short notice.

Desirable – experience in health care is desirable but not essential. Training for the position will be provided.

Pay Rate – dependent on experience

Hours –   21.5hrs a week:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3.30pm to 7.00pm.

Tuesday and Thursday 3.30pm to 9.00 (38 weeks)/ 1.30pm to 7.00pm (14 weeks)

The post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Applicants must have current UK professional registration
